The Journey of the Soul

to his Lord, according to the model of
Al -issra’ wa l-mi’râj

The great Sufi master, founder of the whirling dervishes, Mawlana Jalaluddin RUMI, was in an assembly while one of those present said to him “Master! You are bright and sharp as a sword! »Then RUMI replied: “Yet you see at this moment the sword in the sheath, it is only when it comes out of the sheath that it becomes really sharp and luminous" Our soul is this sword whose luminous nature we can discover if we free it from its confinement in the prison of the bod”.

The knowledge of our soul is not a philosophical concept, it is a real experience that transforms us, which leads us to finally know who we are. It is a fundamental step on the path of liberation from the ego veils to meet our inner master, the Lord.

The Sufi tradition teaches the method of this journey whose prophetic model was utilized in the West by Dante within the "divine comedy" .

This method of the journey of the soul is transmitted by a special authorization which firstly includes a blow of divine grace and secondly a technology, science of the rhythms of the soul. It consists in re-living with a real visual experience, the famous night journey of the Prophet Mohammad (SAW) through the 7 heavens and the encountering of all the prophets. Thus receiving an inner model - like a guidance software - of the prophetic teaching of the soul's journey to its Lord through a text and sounds guided experience.

A sound accompaniment structure has been patiently and carefully chosen so that the appropriate musics are mixed with the progression of the text and the atmosphere that follows the progression of consciousness. These musics synchronized with the text, support the modified states of consciousness, which allows a true interior experience much more than mental.

On the other hand, delta wave sound frequencies sustain the trance state. The text for the journey is adapted based on the testimony given by the Prophet Mohammad (saw) and reported in the hadiths.  

 

This text is retaken and read by Philippe de Vos, Sheikh Amanoullah during this progression, while intenting to respect the presence and the states of consciousness corresponding to the different stages:

The participants will be lying on the blankets with a short break in the middle of the trip.

This can be done in a short version of one day or in a normal version of two days:
The first day would be the horizontal part of the trip, the second day the vertical one.



- Phase 1: Presentation of the exercise and the journey (without sounds)

-Phase 2: Meditation on the divine call and on the “invitation to travel”

- Phase 3: Intention: I am not this body, not this mental mind, not this ego, I am this soul made of the light of God which hopes to return to its Source

- Phase 4: visualization of the place of departure of the journey

- Phase 5: Call for all the prophets and all the saints to get the permission for this journey and in particular each one requests his personal Sheikh as the representative of the Prophet of that time

- Phase 6: Call for Holy Mary the queen of heaven and earth, the queen of angels to enquire her help during this journey

- Phase 7: Call for our personal guardian angel for protection and guidance, he is the intermediary between our incarnated earthly soul and our eternal soul, our "alter-ego" made of divine light. He gives us his protective aura (equivalent to the Monroe protective aura)

-Phase 8: the ablution or purification preceding the departure, suggested by the angel. We immerse ourselves in a pure and luminous water to evacuate the heaviness, the residuals, the poisons which clutter our soul by visualizing them coming out of us like perspiration.​

-Phase 9: Clothing: we will be dressed by the angel with a new clothing for the journey

-Phase 10: a celestial mount will carry us during the journey

-Phase 11: departure of the journey in horizontal mode towards the valley where God appeared to Moses in the burning bush, stopover and meditation in this place

- Phase 12: visit to Bethlehem to visit the birthplace of Jesus, stopover and prayer

- Phase 13: departure to Jerusalem, place of the ascension and on the way a sort of many temptations take place, this moment is similar to crossing a bridge as thin as a razor's edge, one who turns to the right or to the left falls into hell, meaning that one lets it Self being bogged down within all its hesitations, its cowardice, poisonous memories which has not been faced up to now, ones karma awareness occurs which measure has not been taken in consideration. Perception of our ambitions, greed or buried and not assumed hypocrisies, everything that diverts from the path. Here is the situation where we face a fundamental choice regarding the orientation of our soul, it is the trial that takes place which shall validate the trip;

- Phase 14: arrival at the temple of Jerusalem in the assembly of saints and prophets: prayer of intercession in their presence;

- Phase 15: Staircase of light, tremendous vortex where each spiral moves reach the height of 40 years of walking;

- Phase 16: encountering with the angel of death Izrail, awareness of the meaning of death

- Phase 17: encountering with the guardian angel of the underworld who gives an overview of the place

- Phase 18: Arrival at the first heaven, a guardian of the gate asks if the traveler is authorized to enter and who he is to – be able – to come that far. The traveler will answer I am a guest, a friend of God, then the door will be opened to him and he will meet the chief angel of the armies of God, he is dressed in a garment of light and rides a horse of light as well, the traveler is welcomed by Adam, and Saint Jean-Batiste established in that heaven sky, the one who will return like Imam Mahdi, he is near his cousin the Lord Jesus who is there as well as he is preparing his return to Earth

- Phase 19: arrival at the second heaven, the guardian asks again the same question (who is there) and whether he has received his invitation and the traveler replies with the same answer, I am a guest and a friend of God, then he will be welcomed by Solomon and David, the master of the psalms, while a magisterial angel presides over this heaven sky along with all angels who sustain and follow the prayers and invocations of dhikr of the earth beings;

- Phase 20: arrival in the third heaven, a guardian asks again the question "who are you?" and "have you been invited?" Then follows the usual response and Joseph "Youssouf" guardian of the treasures of beauty process the welcoming

- Phase 21: arrival in the fourth heaven, same ritual of questions inquired by the guardian and same answers being given then the welcoming on a white land similar to the most luminous pearl, by Enoch and Elijah the masters of life surrounded by 70,000 eagle headed angels.

- Phase 22: arrival in the fifth heaven, same passing exam required by the guardian asking who is the one whom wishes to enter, then welcoming by Araon the brother of Moses and archetype of all the good lieutenants surrounded by angels 70,000 times each one holding 70,000 hands.

- Phase 23: arrival at the sixth heaven made of sublime green color emerald stones; the angel who presides over that heaven sky is 70,000 times greater than the previous ones, the guardian again asks the question “who’s coming in this place”? and awaits the answer. The welcoming is done by Moie established in this place where the angels have heads horses-like lined up in battle order to provide help to those in need on Earth

- Phase 24: arrival at the seventh heaven of ruby color ​​populated by angels distraught with love, all directed towards God singing his praises, these are the angels who call men to prayer. Another passing exam performed by the angel who is the guardian of the gate then the welcoming in this heaven sky by Abraham who gazes the future of souls.

- Phase 25: arrival at the tree of the limit whose trunk is made of red gold, the branches of white spokes and the leaves of emeralds. Everything that descends from the sky or rises towards the latter passes through this point. This is where the knowledge of the angels ends.

This is where the springs flow from which emanate the 4 rivers of graces and sciences,  the water (the science of principles), the wine (love), the milk (the science of the laws of society and religions) and honey (the sciences of nature and its transmutations).

- Phase 26: arrival at the ultimate sky. In this locality, no more support,  no more angel guides, no more mounts, extreme solitude to engage oneself in the Presence of the divine Majesty, only supported by the one and only HIM, His only grace and the knowledge of the Oneness. The only call here can only be towards Him and the reply and support can only be initiated by Him.

- Phase 27: dialogue on the carpet of intimacy granted by the Lord. In front of the great mirror of Awakening, uncovering of the greatest law, to know oneself in its unique signature. At this very stage, one receives here the order of the mission, the understanding of the sense of Life.

- Phase 28: descent: acceptance of incarnation and the life on earth

- Phase 29: transit on the white land which will be a place allowed to return while waiting for the great final deliverance. Land of archetypes and prototypes of everything which is in the universe, there, houses are made of crystal, the creatures that live there do not even know that God created Adam or the devil because they have no ego . There, we meet the Prophet Mohammad (saw) who asks us what will be our commitment on earth to share and concretize in action the knowledge that we have received

- Phase 30: we leave this land through its way out where we shall be hosted by our (initial) mount along with our abilities while retrieving the new clothe of our (re)descent

- Phase 31: the compassion and desire of sharing helps us to accept the descent

I come from this soul that is at the origin of all souls

                 

I am from this city which is the city of those who are without city

      

The pathway of this city has no end

 

Go, lose everything you have, this is (precisely) that which is the very ALL."
